Senior Squash
We normally see two types of players in our adult squash sessions; Those who want to play for fitness and fun, and club players who want to improve and move up the rankings.
Healthy Sport
Since Squash was voted the “Healthiest Sport” by Forbes and was mentioned in a BMJ article saying that participation “showed significant risk reduction” of mortality (quoted and sumerised here) we’ve seen an increase in adults wanting to use the game to improve their skills and fitness, and to vent some frustration. Our coaches tailor each lesson to suit your requirements so that you see a measurable improvement and benefit. We can use tools such as video analysis to help give visual feedback on technique, and discuss game plans and tactics to help achieve results. Nutrition and apres-squash is built into the lesson to make the recovery that little bit easier.
A lot of our adult club players are regulars in the Leinster Squash leagues. Their sessions (either group or individual) concentrate on refining technique using progressive drills and video analysis. We normally use a block of sessions to progress particular shots, combining them with some movement and then introducing extra shot options until they all become second nature. Practice makes perfect and the results can be seen in their match wins.
